Heilongjiang Province, abbreviated as "Black", is a provincial administrative region of the People's Republic of China. Its capital, Harbin, is located in the northeast of China, facing Russia across the river in the north and east, bordering Inner Mongolia in the west and Jilin Province in the south. It is the northernmost and easternmost provincial administrative region of China. Between 43°26 'and 53°33' north latitude, the total area of the area is 473,000 square kilometers, ranking the 6th in China. The border is 2,981.26 km long.

Heilongjiang geomorphology features "five mountains, one water, one grass, three fields". The terrain is generally high in the northwest, north and southeast, and low in the northeast and southwest.
